Cakes!

I've taken up a new hobby, cake decorating. It's something I've always enjoyed to do and would like to improve upon my skills. I'm now taking classes so I will probably be posting several new pictures on a regular basis, hopefully over time there will be a noticable improvement. And in the meantime, if you need a cake for something let me know!

Taylor's Last Day of School

Today was Tay's last day at Miss Diane's Little School and the last day that either of my children will be attending there ever again. It was happy and sad all at once. Miss Diane and Miss Celeste have provided such a loving and nurturing atmosphere for both of our girls and we will miss them so much and appreciate all they have done for us.

Having lunch on Mr. Tim's boat.

Tay with some of her school mates.

Celebrating the summer birthdays.

Maddie was happy to be included.

Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day. We spent the day at Long Beach in Rockport, it was a beautiful day and luckily not overly crowded. We finished the day over at my Aunt Jayne's for a nice dinner with the whole family. Sad to say I do not have a picture of the best father in the world with his children, but I have some cute shots of the best children!

Taylor's great idea of the day...

Sand Angels! And boy did they get sandy!

Little Mermaid!

This morning we surprised the girls with a visit to their favorite eatery, Sylvan Street Grille aka "The Kings Crown" for brunch. Not only did they eat chocolate chip pancakes and french toast, their good friends Hannah and Amelia joined us, and Ariel came around to the tables to say hello!

Sea Coast Science Center

Today we went to the Sea Coast Science Center in Rye, NH with Meredith (and boys) and Danielle (and her 3). It was a great place for the kids and everyone had a lot of fun.

Maddie checking out the fish, there was a strange looking creature clung to the side of the tank.

Testing out the life jackets...

Visiting the tide pools, collecting seashells...

Boston

Dancing at the station, waiting for the train.

Daddy and his girls. I don't get much attention on Daddy's day off.

Taylor absolutely loves the Aquarium! She wanted to hang out and watch the lobster, so we walked through at her pace.

Jelly fish exhibit

We walked upon a carousel while walking from the Aquarium to Fanueil Hall...

...we couldn't resist.

With all the Celtics hype in the city due to the finals, it was fitting to take a photo with the legendary Red Auerbach. Maddie was even photographed by the Herald. "Beat LA Again"!

Horses!

Windrush Farm Family Festival

Maddie practicing mounting a horse before the real thing.

This is the biggest horse she's been on. She loved it!
