Too bad it doesn't look like the pictures from the box. Maddie doesn't notice these things, to her it's the best cupcake ever!

Christmas

If you spoke with Madeline before Christmas you would know that she wanted a cupcake maker. Santa delivered!

Christmas Eve

We spent the first half of our evening with Pops and Grandmommy, going to church and enjoying some down time at their house. We ended Christmas Eve over at Mike and June's to see the Blanchette's. We had a great night!

Our first big snow storm of the year! The girls had so much fun, but my favorite part is enjoying some hot cocoa after.

More Cookies!

From Thanksgiving until Christmas I bake a lot of yummy cookies. And today we had an extra helper. Maddie and Calvin were great help until they discovered the magic of flour mixed in water, what a mess!

"Gingerbread House Day" - take two!

Our first attempt at Gingerbread House Day was a disaster! I got a pretty bad burn while gluing the pieces together (not my proudest moment, and it freaked the girls out a bit), but after a few days of recovery, we sat down to complete our masterpiece!

Ballet Peek Week #2

Daddy came to Maddie's ballet class today. She was so excited and even invited him to dance with her. How cute!
Miss Peggy is nice enough to let Taylor join in once in a while. She loves it!

Last year Taylor loved meeting Santa Claus, and Madeline was a little apprehensive. This year it was the other way around. I'm wondering when they will both cooperate!

Our final night in Rome

Our final evening was spent having an elgant dinner at the St. Regis Hotel in the Ritz Room. We were later surprised with some live entertainment, famous Italian opera singers!
